By default the Amata LIDAR select (Code ΧΧΧ) is turned OFF.
Depressing the key button for a period of ΧΧΧ LED flashes will switch
the Amata detection & jamming ON or OFF.

cruise control systems)

• Parking Detection range adjustment, Code ΧΧΧ – now has 8 Levels of
sensitivity to chose from. Levels 5,6,7 and 8 extend the detection
distance beyond the extra long mode Level 4. LEVEL 2 (medium) is
unchanged medium sensitivity setting and is still the default setting.
• Recording Mode, Code ΧΧΧ* - a feature that was available as a
separate product is now incorporated in to all G9 RX products. You
are helping us to develop code for new Laser threats or to filter out
unwanted false alert sources. Simply activate this mode before you
encounter Unknown Laser or before you pass by annoying false alert
source and its Signal will be recorded in the memory of the G9.**
• Show Firmware Version, Button pressed on power-up.
Depressing the key button on power-up will activate a LED sequence
of red and green blinks. Red blinks separate the firmware ID x.x.x.x
characters while green blinks represent each character x value.
• Infinity DLCC/ACC (cruise control) system detecting & filtering.

G9 units equipped with this firmware versions or newer will no
longer sound an alarm on passing Infinity vehicle. Additionally two
selectable options have been added:
Infinity vehicle Detect (Code ΧΧΧ), by default turned OFF.
Infinity vehicle Install (Code ΧΧΧ), by default turned OFF.
If you prefer to receive a discrete alarm on passing Infinity vehicles
activate the I.Detect feature. If you intend to mount AL G9 to the
Infinity vehicle be sure to activate I.Install mode. In this mode laser
filtering will be lowered so do not use it unless you have to.
*Code ΧΧΧ is activated by entering and
releasing code ΧΧΧ three times separated by
few green blinks every time.
**When this mode is activated G9 enters
recording state in which it's normal functions
are suspended until the power-off.

Band Modifying is now implemented in the AL G9 as a LIDAR select
feature.
By using the LIDAR select operating modes it is now possible to turn
off some LIDAR frequencies in the AL G9. By doing so you will
decrease the likelihood of receiving a false alert if the LIDAR type
that you have turned off is not used in your area. This feature will
be available only for some complex LIDARs that are used in specific
areas.

By default the UnicamVELOCITY LIDAR select (Code ΧΧΧ) is turned
OFF. Depressing the key button for a period of ΧΧΧ LED flashes will
switch the UnicamVELOCITY detection ON** or OFF***.
(If switched ON you may occasionally receive false alerts from other
IR cameras like Toll, Border, Security etc.)
• Professional operating mode added, Code ΧΧΧ. Depressing the key
button for a period of ΧΧΧ LED flashes will turn the Professional mode
ON*** or OFF****. When hit by a laser in Pro mode the LED will
flash only while the laser gun is firing. In Standard mode the LED
stays Red for the whole duration of the alert (Default OFF).
*Jamming of the Poliscan laser scanner system cannot be 100%
guaranteed because of the nature of the system. Poliscan measures
speed up to 10m distance when the angle to the car becomes extreme
(up to 45 deg.) and thus hindering the jamming effectiveness. On
average 3 out of 4 speedings were not photographed.
**ON setting is indicated by the Green LED light and constant tone
from the speaker.
***OFF setting is indicated by the Red LED light and flickering tone
from the speaker.
