Using the info deriving from this video we have: 120 cm and 90 cm detection for AL and LI respectively (approximations are made to ease the job). With 3 m distance we have 22 and 17 deg off center detection respectively (tan^-1(120 or 90 / 300)).

Now, lets see in what off center position this detection is translated to if we consider real encounters (300-1500 m).

300 m (TP)
AL: 120 m
LI: 90 m

600 m (UL)
AL: 240 m
LI: 180 m

900 m
AL: 360 m
LI: 270 m

1200 m (UL LR)
AL: 480 m
LI: 360 m

1500 m (TP XR)
AL: 600 m
LI: 450 m

These are the distances off the course of the car that a cop should stand in order to avoid jammer detection when using a lidar gun. These distances will cause enormous false (lower) readings and are not used in practice. So, both jammers cover easily a vehicle in every day use.

If we forget about every day practice, the performance of AL is remarkable with its 4 diodes covering every possible shooter place. LI is still a good participant in the receiving game with its 2 diodes.

Modifications I would like to see:
1. Vertical detection (shooting from bridges is used in many countries).
2. Detection with one jammer at a time with same position for the sensing diodes.
3. Same procedures with other jammers (Blinder, LPP etc).

Thnx for your time.
