Hi again guys.

We have had a new fleet of Redflex radar vans introduced here since last November.

Here is a clip from the news over here about them...

On radardetector.net, we have this thread about them...

http://www.radardetector.net/forums/sho ... hp?t=69749

They seem to be using the AGD340 K band radar system but it is angled across the road to catch you just as you pass but from both directions :( .

We can detect them at decent range from the rear as we pass with the Valentine One, Redline and STiR Plus but there is very little detection when you are driving in the direction that the radar is facing so it would be very easy to miss one by night etc, and get a ticket.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance :)

P.S. Sorry that one user made his V1 videos private but I cannot do anything about that :(.

From what I can see, the radar is vertically polarized.

Which basically means that you need to mount your detector vertical (|) instead of horizontal (-).

Detection wise, it seems a bit like the MultaRadar C.

I think that either mounting the detector vertical or a enerby filtered detector (with Multi polarized horn) will do the trick in detecting these.
