Last year I was on holiday in Italy, and on my final day I decided to visit Pisa for an hour or two. It was a pleasant visit, but 355 days later, I received three fines by mail of EUR 115, in total EUR 345.

The fine was because I was 'circulating in restricted traffic zone without authorization'. And the funny thing is that I got three fines, all within 5 minutes, on three different streets in Pisa.

I think these fines are absurd, since I did not know I couldn't visit the city centre with my car (there was a lot of traffic), no signs, nothing. I can login to an Italian website and see the pictures and indeed, it was my car.

So my question to you guys: has someone had the same fine? What do you guys think about this?

Please advice. Thanks!
